You could find some almost ready to fly planes, some ready to fly planes and just regular desktop display models as well.
If you are new to the hobby, or want a not-so-expensive plane, I would suggest the following:

Those two are great warbirds, I personally bought them and flew them. The micro one that is 4 channels can do some acrobatics, where as the bigger one can not perform them too well. Don’t feel too limited though! There are more planes on that site. Look around.
